The great drawn of this film is obviously Jason Statham and Jet Li going after each other. So, although a poster of the two facing one another might seem a little obvious, it is exactly what the movie’s likely audience wants.
And I have to say that it works for me too. In great part because the two leads have quite a presence, which the image manages to portray. But also because it is a nice execution of the concept. The yellowy tone threw me off at first, but it has quickly grown on me. I think it gives the poster a distinctive look, which is always a good thing.
I do have to say that the poster reminds me a little too much of AvP, which was a bad, bad movie. A bad movie with good posters, but still.
This is a really cool poster. Both actors are the men, and I love having them go at each other.
