Iron Man had a great wealth of image systems and themes they could have borrowed from for the poster design... One that comes to mind is the industrial theme, it's used an incredible amount in the comics. Also, here they're using photo art. They should have had an illustration of the actors, considering this is based off a comic, people would have accepted it... Also, they emphasis the actors TOO MUCH!!! The Spider Man poster worked well and all it had was Spider Man on it... I know Iron Man isn't one of the most "general audience" superheros in the Marvel universe, but they could have made it work with less. At the most all you need is Robbert and the Armor and some explosions... Or just have Iron Man doing something like lifting a tank. He's a bad-ass make him do something BAD-ASS... They're trying to appeal to too many people at the same time. They should have just focused on comic fans, teenagers and older geeks...
