This movie was better then 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. Besides the cameo roles that always steal the Apatow movies everyone of the main actors(Kristen, Jason, Mila, and Russle) all where pretty equally funny.

Hmm, I have never actually watched “How I Met Your Mother” and didn’t realize Jason was in that. I did know that Neil Patrick Harris had a part, so I’m not totally clueless!

But even if he is more known than I thought what I mean with “somewhat unknown” is something like “not used o having a lead part in movies and not a huge TV star,” so I think the point still stands. Although I’m open to the possibility that I’m just wrong on that one.

And just to make it clear, I think a lot of the comedies connected to Apatow have benefited from using actors who weren’t already comedy stars, and I have liked Jason in everything I have seen him in, so I don’t have a problem with him starring the film.

Jason Segal is not an unknown actor. He was a lead in “Freaks and Geeks” as well as the current show “How i Met Your Mother,” as well as pretty much everything ever touched by Apatow. I commend a person that remembers the people that have helped him along the way instead of going Hollywood and casting Ben Stiller or Will Ferell as a lead every time out.
