
I think this approach is actually smarter and funnier than the “they won’t let us show even one frame because the movie is just so controversial” approach. And much, much better than the more clearly sexual poster.
And not only is the contrast between the images and the title very funny, it also softens the blow a little, which I think makes the film seem more broadly appealing. As much as you might know rationally that it’s a joke, it’s hard to see the movie with this poster as something that could actually be offensive, or too pornotastic for one’s tastes.
